Mobile World Congress 2017 held in Barcelona announced upcoming smartphones in a market.


Sony Xperia XZ Premium and XZs



The XZ premium is the flagship phone powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 chipset. First smartphone in with a 4k HDR display (5.5-inch). Phone is IP68 certified for water and dust resistance.

Phone comes with  4GB RAM, 64GB storage. It is powered by 3,230 mAh battery. Phone cameras capable of 960fps slow motion video recording. Phone has 13MP front camera. Phone has USB Type-C port. Android Nougat inbuilt operating system is there.

The Sony XZ has a 5.2-inch 1080p Triluminos display. Phone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor. Phone comes with  4 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage space. Phone is powered by 2,900 mAh battery.


Sony Xperia XA1 and XA1 Ultra



XA1 has 5 inch display with 720p display resolution. And XA1 Ultra has 6 inch display with FHD.

Both have 23 MP 1/2.3-inch Exmor RS sensors. Powered by 64-bit based octa-core MediaTek helio P20 processor. XA1 is powered by 2300 mAh battery while XA1 Ultra with a larger battery 2,700 mAh battery.


Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 and Gear VR controller



Galaxy Tab S3 comes with a 9.7-inch 2048 x 1536 (QXGA) Super AMOLED display. Tab is powered by a quad-core 2.15 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor. Tab is powered by 4 GB of RAM. Front camera is 5 MP. And rear camera is 13 MP. Tab is powered by 6,000 mAh battery. Android Marshmallow operating system is there. Tab supports microSD cards.

Samsung also announced Gear VR headset with self controlling.


Gionee A1 & A1 Plus



A1 has a metal unibody design with 5.5-inch full HD display. Phone has octa core Mediatek processor. Phone arrives with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage which is expandable. Phone has 13MP rear camera and 16MP front camera with selfie flash. Android Nougat operating system is there. Phone is powered by 4,010 mAh battery.

The A1 Plus has a 6-inch full HD display It has a Mediatek Helio P25 processor. Phone comes with 20MP front camera with selfie flash. Phone has dual rear cameras with 13MP and 5MP. Android Nougat operating system is there. Phone is powered by 4,550 mAh battery.


Nokia 3310



Nokia has re-launched the Nokia 3310 at MWC. D-pad is in the center. Phone has 2.4-inch colour display with 320 x 240 pixels. Phone has 3.5 mm audio jack, microUSB port and a 2MP rear camera.

The phone has 16GB storage expandable upto 32GB). Phone is powered by 1,200mAh battery. It comes in four different colours. It has the Symbian 30 operating system. Also coming with a new version of classic Snake game.


Nokia 3 and 5



Nokia has announced two mid-range Android smartphones at MWC 2017. Both phones have 2GB RAM, 16GB storage expandable upto 256GB, 8MP front camera, , fingerprint scanner and run Android Nougat.

Nokia 3 is with a 5-inch HD display. Phone is with quad core Mediatek processor. Phone has 8MP rear camera. Phone is powered 2,650mAh battery.

Nokia 5 has a 5.2-inch HD display. Phone is powered by octa core Snapdragon 430 processor. Phone has 13MP primary camera. Phone is powered by 3,000mAh battery. Both are preloaded with Google Assistant.


BlackBerry KeyOne



New BlackBerry is the first QWERTY phone from TCL, who took on the license to manufacture BlackBerry phones in December last year. It combines a 4.5-inch display of 1620 x 1080 pixels with the signature hardware keyboard. Like previous Priv and Passport, the keyboard doubles up as a capacitive touchpad. The space bar has an integrated fingerprint scanner.

Phone is powered by Snapdragon 625. Phone has 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage. Phone is powered by 3,505mAh battery. It has a 12MP rear camera and 8MP front camera. Android 7.1. operating system is there.


Alcatel A5 LED 



The company showcased various snap-on covers: one with a battery pack, one with a speaker and kickstand and another case with integrated LEDs configurable to show any colour or pattern for notifications.

The phone has a 5.2-inch HD display. Phone runs Android 6.0. Phone has 1.5Ghz octa-core Mediatek MT6753 processor. Phone has 2GB RAM and 16GB storage. Phone is powered by 2,800mAh battery. Phone has 8MP rear camera and a 5MP front camera.


Huawei P10 and P10 Plus



Huawei continues its partnership with Leica on the P10 and P10 Plus. Both phones comes with dual rear cameras ­ 20MP + 12MP with OIS, laser autofocus and dual LED flash.

The P10 has a 5.1-inch full HD display and 3,200mAh battery. P10 Plus has a dual curved 5.5-inch 2k amoled display and 3,750mAh battery.

Both devices have an octa core HiSilicon 960 processor, 4GB RAM, 64GB storage, fingerprint scanner and USB Type-C port. The P10 plus will come in a 6GB RAM, 128GB storag.


LG G6 



LG's new flagshiphas a 5.7- inch 2k display with 18:9 aspect with surprisingly narrow bezels. IP68 certification for water resistance is there. Phone is powered by Snapdragon 821 processor. Phone has 4GB RAM and 264GB storage, Phone is powered by 3,300mAh battery.

Phone comes with dual 13MP rear camera setup with OIS, laser autofocus, HDR 10 and dual LED flash. Front camera is 5MP selfie shooter. Phone runs Android 7.0 and first smartphone after Google's Pixel to get the Google Assistant feature.


Motorola Moto G5 and Moto G5 Plus



Successor to plastic G4, now they have a metal body design. Lenovo announced the Moto G5 and G5 Plus at MWC with similar looks that differ on the internals.

The Moto G5 has a 5.0-inch LCD display with 1080p resolution ie FHD. Phone is powered by 1.4 GHz Snapdragon 430 processor. Phone has 2 or 3 GB of RAM depending on region and 16 or 32 GB of storage and microSD support up to 128GB. Phone has a 13 MP rear camera with an f/2.0 aperture, phase detection autofocus and a 1.1μm pixel size and a 5 MP front-facing camera with an f/2.2 aperture and a 1.4μm pixel size.

The Moto G5 Plus also features a 5.2-inch 1080p display. Phone comes with the more powerful 2.0 GHz Snapdragon 625 processor. Phone has 2/3/4GB of RAM and 16/32/64GB of onboard storage and the same microSD. Phone has rear camera of 12 MP with “dual autofocus pixels”, an f/1.7 aperture and a 1.4μm pixel size. Front with 5 MP front shooter sports an f/2.2 aperture and a 1.4μm pixel size.


ZTE Gigabit Phone



ZTE comes with the Gigabit Phone. Phone will use ZTE’s Pre5G Giga+ MBB technology, which is reportedly “three times as powerful at improving data processing capability in the current network”. Combined with the use of Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 835 processor and its X16 modem, the phone will be able to achieve gigabit download speeds with the support of downlink 256-QAM through triple-carrier modulation convergence. ZTE says this allows for data processing that is six times greater than through the use of single-carrier modulation.

The ZTE Gigabit Phone offers 1Gbps download speeds.


ZTE Blade V8 Lite and the Blade V8 Mini



New premium phones is the ZTE Blade V8 Mini with a metallic unibody design. The most standout feature the V8 Mini offers is its 13 and 2MP dual camera setup on the back, which will allow you to take advantage of bokeh effects and a handy refocus mode. These cameras also support a 3D shooting mode, which will allow the sensors to take photos from different angles and combine them together to generate 3D pictures. The device also comes with manual camera controls and automatic HDR.

The V8 Mini has 5.0-inch display. phone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 435 processor. Phone has 2GB of RAM and 16GB of storage with expandable memory. Phone has a 5MP front camera. Phone is powered by a non-removable 2,800mAh battery. It has a fingerprint sensor on the back, which will let you launch your favorite app when the screen is off or locked. V8 Mini runs Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box, complete with ZTE’s MiFavor 4.2 software overlay.


Oppo phone with 5x-Zoom-Camera



Oppo will bring 5x smartphone photography technology that will capture highly detailed images.


Oppo's technology consists of two lenses. One is fairly standard. Other is "periscope" lens — a horizontally-positioned telescope lens that gets its light through a prism, similar to the way a submarine periscope works. The entire setup is only 5.7mm thick to easily fit on a smartphone.

The 5x zoom, Oppo does not call "optical" but claims is "lossless". A new optical image-stabilization feature will achieve 40 percent better performance than previous.
